Light soy sauce

Light soy sauce is more widely consumed than its darker cousin. With a unique amber color and a slightly higher salt content than dark soy sauce, it makes a great addition to rice, pasta, meat, seafood, fish and even sushi. It is an ideal way to season not only Asian dishes, but food from a wide range of cuisines. It is used most often in salads, sauces, dressings, fish dishes, seafood, chicken, light meat, soups and vegetarian dishes. It can be served both hot and cold.
